Our Commitment to Corporate Responsibility

We are committed to operating our businesses and manufacturing operations in accordance with, and in ways that promote, internationally recognized standards of corporate responsibility. Our commitment is closely aligned with our support for the vision and mission of the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC).

In addition to complying with all legal requirements, which we view as our minimum responsibility, we are committed to ensuring that

our company is directed and managed according to the highest standards of corporate governance and business ethics.

We will continuously improve our performance toward these commitments. We expect the same commitments from our suppliers and other business partners.

Corporate Policy and Commitment to EICC
To achieve these commitments, we have adopted specific standards of conduct which are described in our global Corporate Responsibility Policy, which is designed to conform with the EICC code of conduct. Working together with our supply chain partners and in collaboration with other EICC members, we intend to progressively apply these policies to our suppliers and monitor their application to the best of our ability using EICC tools and approaches.

Corporate Governance

Our board of directors understands that it is ultimately responsible for the governance of the company, and takes this responsibility seriously. Corporate governance is the set of legal obligations, policies and processes that determine how Fairchild Semiconductor is controlled and directed, and the mechanisms by which those with control are held accountable. Primary stakeholders are our stockholders, board of directors and senior management team. Other stakeholders include our customers, employees, suppliers, communities, regulators and creditors. We strive to continuously improve our governance structure and processes.
