San Jose, California – November 26, 2007 – Fairchild Semiconductor (NYSE: FCS), the leading global supplier of high performance products that optimize system power, marked their European 50/10 year anniversary event with a contribution to the SOS Children’s Villages organization. The donation was targeted to help support a school in Calbayog, the Philippines. This school helps up to 600 students in 14 classrooms develop realistic options for their future, learn about taking responsibility and increasingly make their own decisions; equipping them to lead an independent life.
