Full Story
This highly integrated FPS power switch, the FSFM300, can handle up to 30W of output power without a heatsink, reducing board space and costs for LCD. This energy and space-efficient power switch is ideal for LCD TVs, DVD recorders, set-top boxes, LCD monitors and VCRs.
News Highlights:
- Eliminates a heat sink, allowing LCD monitors to be slimmer and reduces the overall cost of the design
- Incorporates a SenseFET into the actual die, reducing component count compared to alternate solutions and saving valuable design time, while reducing overall system costs
- Its SenseFET offers exceptionally low RDS(ON), delivering high levels of efficiency for the overall design
- Burst mode protection brings standby power consumption to less than 70~140mW
