30V N-Channel PowerTrench® MOSFET Takes First Place in Passive & Discrete Devices Category

SAN JOSE, Calif. – December 22, 2010 – Fairchild Semiconductor (NYSE: FCS), a leading global supplier of high performance power and mobile products, has won ECN's 2010 Reader's Choice Tech Awards in the Passive & Discrete Devices category. Fairchild's FDMC7660, a 30V N-Channel PowerTrench® MOSFET, is produced using Fairchild's PowerTrench® process, which has been designedto minimize the on-state resistance.

The FDMC7660 N-Channel PowerTrench® MOSFET is part of a family which answers the need for lighter and more compact power supply solutions while delivering high efficiency and competitive thermal enhancements in industrial, computing and telecommunications systems.

The device is best used for Power Management and load switching applications that are common in portable battery packs or notebook computers. The FDMC7660 is available in the compact Power33 (3.3mm x 3.3mm MLP) package.
