Fairchild Semiconductor Receives Application of Electronic Techniques (AET) China Outstanding Product Award

FSEZ1307 Primary Side Regulation PWM Controller with Integrated MOSFET Wins in Analog Device Category

San Jose, Calif., January 6, 2011 – Fairchild Semiconductor (NYSE: FCS), a leading global supplier of high performance power and mobile products, has received an outstanding product award in the 2010 Application of Electronic Technique China (AET) Top Product Awards. The FSEZ1307 Primary Side Regulation (PSR) pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller with integrated MOSFET received the award in the Analog Device category.

The FSEZ1307 provides several features to enhance the performance of low-power flyback converters such as TRUECURRENT™ technology, a proprietary method developed by Fairchild to regulate output current by using a PSR controlled flyback converter without secondary feedback circuitry. TRUECURRENT technology enables precise constant current (CC) regulation and simplified circuit design for battery-charger applications.

The FSEZ1307 simplifies designs, saves board space and is ideal for mobile chargers, adapters and LED lighting applications and helps designers meet the stringent power and regulatory specifications such as ENERGY STAR® Level V.
