Winner of the Industry & Energy Minister's award

Taehoon Kim, Director and Discrete Team Leader of FSC Korea has won the Industry & Energy Minister's award in the best electronic parts contest hosted by Electronic Industries Association of Korea.

This award is the recognition of his contribution to the Korean electronic industry with the development of SPM® (Smart Power Module) for low-power applications. SPM® enables household electric appliance makers to have an alternative to the Mitsubishi IPM in a category where Mitsubishi was the only supplier in the market. Fairchild SPM® is expected to provide additional leverage to applicance makers with its cost effective and advanced technology performance and stable supply.
