Product Change Notices (PCNs)

Fairchild's PCN process was developed to be compliant to the JEDEC standard, JESD46, Customer Notification of Product/Process Changes by Semiconductor Suppliers. All customers of record are notified of major changes and provided with a minimum of 90 days notification prior to implementation of the change.

Fairchild has partnered with IHS to provide customers with an email announcement every time Fairchild issues a product change or obsolescence notice. Subscription to IHS is free of charge for Fairchild customers and allows viewing of all Fairchild notifications. The service provides additional functionality, such as the ability to customize notifications and search for changes by product number.
