Video Switches (FSAV)

Fairchild’s growing family of Video Switches are designed to switch PC RGB, progressive YPbPr or TMDS signals from multiple sources to a display. Our switches are available in a variety of configurations, packages, operating voltages and bandwidth capabilities.

FSAV430 High Bandwidth Video Switch

The FSAV430 combines Wide Bandwidth (>1.1 GHz), low power consumption (<1uA), and small scale packaging to provide designers with the most versatile Video Switch in the industry. The FSAV430 is configured as a Quad 2:1 (SPDT) multiplexer / de-multiplexer. The device is designed to switch S-Video or composite video signals from or to, multiple sources. This switch is often used to switch YPbPr or RGB signals in LCD monitors. The wide bandwidth allows the FSAV430 to be used in emerging high resolution applications such as HDTV and UXGA monitors.

USB Switches (FSUSB)

Fairchild has a number of offerings of products designed switch USB signals. Our products meet all of the requirements of USB 2.0 High Speed or Full Speed. Wide bandwidth, low power consumption, high ESD protection and small scale packaging allow these products to fit any application.

LAN Switches (FSAL)

Fairchild currently has one switch designed specifically for Local Area Networking (LAN) switching, the FSAL200. The FSAL200 low 6ohm On Resistance, minimal propagation delay through the switch, low ICC, Zero bounce in flow-through mode Control inputs compatible with TTL level, Rail-to-rail signal handling, route communications signals including: 10/100 Ethernet, USB1.1, and others. Other LAN switches are planned for future development.
