Fairchild’s multi-media switches are ideal in applications sharing a USB port with audio and video applications. Fairchild’s latest multi-media switch, the FSA800, enables a single, multi-media port for all Audio, USB data, UART and charger connectivity. It offers two unique features: a charger detection feature and unique microphone capability.

Package options include the Chip-Scale sized MicropakTM, MLP, MSOP,uBGA and TSSOP packaging. In addition to smaller scale packaging, these products are designed to minimize power consumption with most products drawing less than 1uA of current. All of these switches are bi-directional to maximize design flexibility.
