Search Tips

Natural Language Query

You may enter a query in the form of a sentence or a question. Example: A search for "What is a mosfet?" will return a definition of mosfet in the results.

Narrow your search

Select from a category such as careers, company information or definitions by clicking on the category name and search within those results.

Spelling

The search engine will correct many common misspellings, however, in some cases a misspelled word could change your results.

Product Numbers

If a search for a product number is not successful, try these variations:

  • Remove any spaces or hyphens embedded in the product number.
  • Try a more general query - instead of NDS355AN, try NDS355.
  • Put the product number in quotes.

Searches are not case-sensitive. Example: Mosfet will match mosfet and MOSFET as well as Mosfet.

Boolean Searching

Boolean searching is not supported. By default, a logical OR will be used between words.

Be specific

Example: a search for analog may give you too many results. If you're really looking for op amps type op amps.

Viewing Guidelines

Parametric and simple text search is best viewed with Internet Explorer 5.1.7 or later and Netscape 7.1 or later.
