The Fairchild's FXLP34, the first single-bit,
dual-voltage translator buffer, allows designers to mix different logic voltage
levels, providing a low-noise buffered interface between any logic level
in the 0.9 V-3.6V range. Translation can be from either low to high or high to low.
Features/Benefits
Especially useful in battery-powered portable products:
- CMOS-based Ultra Low Power (ULP) technology extends battery operation
- MicroPak packaging, or SC70 packaging saves space in space constrained
applications
- Allows functions in portable applications with lower voltage I/Os to be
interfaced functions at higher voltage levels such as the baseband at 1.58V
to the LCD module at 1.8V or to the power management at 2.78V
Applications
- Cell phones
- PDAs
- Notebook computers
- Digital cameras
