FAN1950/FAN1951

New 1.8V option is now available on the FAN1950 and FAN1951. These 1.5A Low Dropout regulators provide low voltage, high current output with a minimum of external components. Using a PNP output pass element, FAN1950 and FAN1951 achieve a maximum 500mV dropout at 1.5A. These devices are fully protected with overcurrent limiting, thermal shutdown, reversed battery protection and reversed lead insertion. Fixed output voltages of 2.5V and 1.8V are available. In addition, the FAN1951 offers a logic level enable pin and error flag that indicates undervoltage and over-current conditions.
