Video Filter/Drivers Reduce Board Space by 20% in Consumer Video Designs

The FMS6143, FMS6145, and FMS6146 highly integrated video filter/drivers feature fully integrated functionality. Compared to typical passive approaches, these multi-channel devices significantly decrease test and design time, reduce inventory and increase image quality in DVDs, LCDs, TVs, set-top boxes and other digital consumer products. The 3-, 5-, and 6- channel, 4th order filter/drivers also improve image quality when used to replace discrete products in traditional 3rd order passive solutions. By providing 8MHz cut-off frequency and 48 dB stopband attenuation, these devices meet standard definition (SD) video requirements, while allowing them to be used as anti-aliasing or reconstruction video out filter drivers.
