QVE00034 Ideal for non-contact switching applications in card detectors, trackballs, motion control and office equipment. The QVE00034 is an infrared transmissive switch incorporating two locating pins for precision mounting onto a PCB. It consists of a GaAs LED and a silicon phototransistor facing each other across an 8mm gap with a 0.5mm aperture, and is packaged in a black plastic housing. The QVE00034 transmissive switch's technology, form factor and performance make it ideal for non-contact switching applications in card detectors, trackballs, motion control, and office equipment. Other features include a daylight filter on the phototransistor, which improves immunity to ambient light. Collector current (IC ON) is .5mA min and 14mA max; collector-to-emitter saturation voltage (VCE SAT) is 0.4V max; operating temperature (TOPR) is -55°C to +100°C; and flow soldering temperature is 260°C peak. Features - Locating pins (two each) Benefits - Locating pins provide precision positioning Applications - Flag detection |
